Hi Martyn--
I hope the new mic(s) work out for you and I do hope you make and
effort to share recordings in a surround format that everyone can
listen to without firing-up editing apps with Ambisonic plug
patching.  DTS encoding using VideoLan Player and  AAC encoding with
QuickTime seemed to work.

Among the many, amazing error-less options, a mix for 5.0 or 5.1
speaker layout would be great for those us who also need our front
speakers set up at 60 degrees for good ol' stereo playback. :-) Rob D.
