I have the Motorola Droid. I tested the Android SPL meter against my Tenma = SPL meter and it was within 2 db over a fairly wide range and mostly right on. = Just for kicks I tested my Tenma against one in our lab and they varied a bit to= o but were very close. I dont think the hardware issue is that big of deal. There= are many advantages to the Droid phones. Number one is a working network where = you can actually make calls with your phone and on most models a faster CPU, be= tter camera and you dont pay the mac tax.
