I've never been clear as to whether it's even *theorectically possible* to=

seamless record with MP3s, the way it is with WAVs.

Presumably the "packet" nature of the MP3 format means you can't split
just anywhere and expect absolutely no gap on playback.  But perhaps it's
somehow possible to split in the right place, given the right software ?

Either way, I can think of few (if any) times I've listened to recordings
(usually gigs in my case) and not been able to hear the MP3 track gaps.
