I'll chime in with the fact that I'm a complete rank amateur at nature reco= rding...but I really have to admit to loving my H4N. It's very simple and= easy to set up, and while I've only used the on board mic's so far, I've c= aptured some nice ambient soundscapes. I hope to come up with an inexpens= ive but serviceable set up binaurals for the 1/8" input soon.(any recommend= ations gladly accepted!). |
