I am wading in a bit late on this, just back from a w/end in a silent natio=
nal park!

I have a rode nt4 and the rode blimp. I didnt have to customize=C2=A0the bl=
imp at all to use with the NT4 except=C2=A0just feeding the cord through th=
e handle of the blimp. The mic, is=C2=A0quite protected and firm inside the=
blimp. I haven't had any problems with it moving at all. Someone had=C2=A0=
mentioned the sensitivity of the NT4 inside the blimp. I have noticed this =
myself and only use=C2=A0the blimp with a really heavy mic stand where i am=
not touching anything at all. I also have=C2=A0the FOSTEX Fr2le and use th=
e high pass filter on it=C2=A0with the NT4 most times, especially when ther=
e is high wind. I have the boom=C2=A0pole but haven't used it, but i do kno=
w that when hand holding the blimp the NT4 picks up any little movement, ev=
en the bones in my fingers moving! Hence the heavy mic stand.
cheers
