I have a Tamrac Velocity 5x bag, wich is marketed as "hip pack convertible"=
. Simply said it is a bag with a shoulder strap *and* a hip belt. Go to Tam=
rac's web site and look for Velocity series, model 5765.
It hosts a MixPre, a Sony PCM D50 + remote control, a Rode NT4, windshield,=
 dead cat, cables, spare batteries.
The bag is well built, allows you to operate your gear more or less like pr=
o bags, but costs $60 instead of $160.
