<<This is more a video solution than an audio solution, but there's a product called PluralEyes available as a plug-in for Final Cut Pro on the Mac and Vegas on the PC that synchronizes audio waveforms from mulitple recorders. I'm tempted to buy Vegas, the video application in the family that also includes Sound Forge Pro and Acid, just so I can use PluralEyes.>> That's a fair amount of effort to accomplish something that can be done quite easily with the old film technique of a simple "clapstick" at the top of each take. For long takes another clap at the end is good. Line the files up manually in a DAW & you're good to go, without need of any specialized software. Scott Fraser |
