Hi All

When I upgraded to a MacBook Pro running Leopard, I enabled the Pro feature=
s of QT by entering my original QT Pro Key Code. Once I did this I regained=
all the functionality I had before when I was running Tiger on a PowerBook=
using QT, either as a standalone player or as a plug-in for Safari.

I then upgraded to Snow Leopard and gained QT v10 as a standalone QT player=
, but also kept QT v7.6.3 standalone player and the QT v7.6.3 plugin which =
is what Safari uses.

When Rob mentioned he was having problems with Save Source As using QT. I c=
hecked the site people had reported as having trouble with, the marvellous =
Loon recording by John Neville. Using Safari v4.0.3, under Snow Leopard v10=
.6.1, I could quite happily select the Save Source As feature with the QT v=

So although we now have QTX or version 10, we seem to keep the QT v7.6.3 pl=
ug-in which gives the usual QT Pro features in Safari. Or it does for me at=
 least.

I don't know if that helps at all?

Phil
