The significant limitation is its self-noise level specified at 20 dB (they don't say whether that's weighted). That's good but not great. The self-noise of the mic array would be audible in quiet natural environments. It's output level isn't very hot, either, which makes more demand on the specs of mic preamps to use with it. -Dan Dugan |
