Rob,

Very interesting, and similar to my own impressions, although I put  
the sonys farther left and the Olympus and the Nagra very slightly off  
center.

So, sadly, the MKH-800-based rig is the clear winner in almost every  
respect, being 17dB more expensive and 13dB heavier than the LS-10...
