it won't be missing too long.

Derek, Kim and others have reported that they are more impressed with
LADSPA EQ plugs usable in apps like Ardour than the current the
"freebie" EQ plugs for AU and VST they tried. I don't have experience
with the LADSPA EQ plugs myself.  Other than these avenues, spending
some money might be the only option.

I'm sorry that I can't remember who it was at the moment, but one
alert list reader suggested an EQ app that had unlimited bands of EQ
(or many) that sounded very similar to Eqium to me. Better visual
interface too. I think it cost around $70USD.  If you search
"parametric EQ" in the list archive, you can probably find it. Rob D.
