I'm sorry to see obSession's response to Martyn's supposed "ALL CAPS respon=
se" was deleted.  Indeed the post he was responding to, from Martyn, was al=
so removed or posted off list.  I didn't find that thread offensive or comm=
ercial.  It would also be nice to see both parts of the conversation.

The thing that bothers me the most is that we lost a group member (obSessio=
n) because of it.

If that post was unacceptable then maybe the whole link should be removed. =
 I for one value real life reports on vendors.  When a vendor or piece of g=
ear I own or cherish is dissed on the list I accept that and weigh the info=
rmation.

If we can't vet manufacturer experiences here then where?  We talk about th=
e good and bad of Sound Devices, Sennheiser, Schoeps etc. all the time.  Ma=
ybe we should ban all posts that say anything negative about any piece of g=
ear.

Again, the only reason I bring all of this up because I hate to see a membe=
r quit the list.

That is all I will say on the matter, carry on...
