Hi John, Sure, the MP3 compression will also introduce additional low-pass filter effects. Though, even if I look at uncompressed high-quality recordings, I cannot find much high-frequency components (except perhaps if a bat was accidentally flying by). Things would be a bit different in close-up recordings where the microphone was more or less aimed at the vocalizing subject. Regards, Raimund |
