Hi Grant I'd love to go back to New Zealand as well . If you go include Stewart Island, where you can easily cross over to Ulva Island. Rats , possums and stouts have been eliminated from Ulvaand th indiginous birds are doing well. Also there is a Kiwi Management area near Haast on the West Coast. I walked the road for three hours and was eventually thrilled to record a KIWI. Most New Zealanders have never seen or hear one. Please let me know how you get on. John Neville |
