http://naturesound.org/this_weeks_recordings/Entries/2009/4/26_mallard_time_again.html It is dawn around 05:10 on a Sunday morning. The first calls of the song sparrow cut through the cool morning air. Mallards and wood ducks from a neighboring pond come in looking for their first meal of the day. The males of the mallards and wood ducks come together to challenge their species. Here you can hear the fighting calls of both wood ducks and mallards and competing for females.
