Hi John I don't fully understand your question, and I am not qualified really to answer, but since I have been doing a lot of research about gear for my own musical and nature recordings recently, I know of a cheap but said-to-be good mic preamp, the "Church Audio ST-9100". From the title of your post, this may be what you are wanting? Here is a link to the preamp, on the "tapers forum". If you look to the last page, it might be down to $100 but you'll have to check. The tapers seem to like his gear: http://taperssection.com/index.php/topic,79928.0.html Justin > So- I'm in search of an > affordable, small mic or PA amp that I could run into a speaker... > Anybody run into anything like this? |
