greetings friends: i am working on a film project set in fairbanks alaska, a story of young kids at a prep school; many scenes from the film are set in outdoor fields, rural suburb housing and by a large lake, supposedly in a local park; (the film was shot near seattle). i'm wondering if some of you familiar with the fairbanks area soundscape might be able to advise me on the general biophony (primarily birds and insect life in late summer to early spring); and more specifically, we have a request to use the sound of a crow or raven - i'm wondering if this bird would be present in the area. thanks very much for any input! cheers kent |
