Thanks Rob -
I've redone the test and its now on as D50_new_test.wav.
I've removed the old.
This is in 4 sec segments as follows:
0-4 Secs Art D50 at 10 (max) plus 10 db
4-8 Secs Mix @ mid, D50 @ 5 (ie mid gain), mic in, no adj to gain
8-12 Secs Mix @ full, D50 @ 2 mic in plus 10 db
12-16 sec Mix @ full, D50 @ 4 line in plus 5 db
16-20 Sec Built in mics, D50 @ 10 (max)

Yes I think the rumble was previously lost in a filter which was
probably switched on - the recorder was new and I was enthusuathically
playing .....& the writing is a tad small for those of use who should
use glasses more often.
The recorder askes if the PIP should be on when a mic is plugged in -
so I would have said no.
Hope this makes things clearer.
The lower frequency noise in from the built in mics again stands out.

Andrew
