just a thought experiment. has anybody tried a point source tetrahedra (lik= e the soundfield microphones). you will get no distance information (though= you sense it when listening) but you get accurate 3d localisation. may be = even a combination; the larger tetrahedra providing distance information (i= do not think=A0it will be accurate for direction) and the small one for di= rection. umashankar =A0i have published my poems. you can read (or buy) at http://stores.lulu.c= om/umashankar |
