Just a quickie, I bought the CS-4 bag for the SD 788T recorder against my better judgement and regretted it as soon as I opened the box it came in. Although the CS-4 bag is well made and houses the 442 MIxer well, Sound devices recommends this bag also for the SD788T. Forget about it! There is no access in this bag to change batteries or flashcards. You basically have to remove the complete recorder to change batteries and flashcards. The Portabrace bag came this morning (AR-788) and fits like a dream but also has access to all sides leaving the recorder housed in the bag at all times.
