I've used them for connecting line level sources like lower cost audio mixers to consumer devices like camcorders with stereo mic input jacks and no line inputs. Radio Shack has some connector cables with attenuation on their website, but I can't find the preferable the RCA->3.5mm adapters. Is the noise and dynamic range performance with the attenuation inserted into the mic circuit be compromised compared to using a simpler, -10dB line circuit? Rob D. -- |
