Thank you for the response. I will be using it mostly as an additional recorder for the line-out of various bat detectors. But, I was also hoping to do some novice-level recording of some birds, bees, cicadas and nighthawks. I was planning on using the built in mics and a new ATR55 shotgun mic that I purchased (for $50).
