A few years back, while on a recording trip in Nome, Alaska, one of
our party had moisture trouble with a Sennheiser ME66.  At dinner that
night, he asked the owner of the pizzaria if he could place the mic on
top of the pizza oven (that's on top, not inside, please!).  At the
end of the meal, he retrieved the mic, and it seemed to be working
fine once again.  The pizza tasted pretty good, too.
