David, Thanks for this message. All the tips on keeping gear dry and drying it out have been extremely useful so far, but I'm glad someone addressed the question of whether humidity is even to blame here (I'm not certain of that at all). I spent some time in the car yesterday drying the mic by using the car heat as a blow dryer, but the rig acted no differently afterwards. How do I check to see that the accumulator is fully charged? How do I charge it if it is depleted? I'm not at all certain that the Pro 6 has an accumulator; I always use phantom power.
