It seems to be getting slightly cheaper month on month. With the Fostex FR-2LE at =A3360 to =A3380 it is becoming difficult for me to justify the higher cost of the Fostex. Especially as I have an ART Phantom II, 26 mint HiMD discs, and 100 mint 74/80 discs. The cost of moving up (?) a notch seems a step too far at the moment. Maybe I should just buy an RH1 to accompany my two NH1s, RH910 and R30. Other than the 910 all the minidisc machines were bought new for just less than half retail prices at close down sales. Similarly most of the non HiMD discs were bought for 10 pence each when Comet decided close out minidisc sales. Cheers Tom Robinson |
