Hi Tom
Interestingly over in the USA where the RH1 seems to have all but disappear=
ed the new Sony PCM D50 is available, while over here in the UK where the R=
H1 is still going strong no one seems to have the PCM D50?
So are they perhaps waiting for stocks of the RH1 to reduce before releasin=
g the PCM D50 it on the market?
By the way there were a couple of RH1's going on ebay for a good price plus=
a couple of NH900's as well. They are a very neat machine and the smallest=
quality recorder around at the moment I would think. And coupled with an A=
rt Phantom II makes a formidable recorder package.
Regards
Phil

It seems to be getting slightly cheaper month on month. With the
Fostex FR-2LE at =A3360 to =A3380 it is becoming difficult for me to
justify the higher cost of the Fostex. Especially as I have an ART
Phantom II, 26 mint HiMD discs, and 100 mint 74/80 discs.
The cost of moving up (?) a notch seems a step too far at the moment.
Maybe I should just buy an RH1 to accompany my two NH1s, RH910 and R30.
Other than the 910 all the minidisc machines were bought new for just
less than half retail prices at close down sales. Similarly most of
the non HiMD discs were bought for 10 pence each when Comet decided
close out minidisc sales.
Cheers
