I am using Roc= kbox already as you can adjust the levels as you are recording. My understanding of the = line-in is that although there is a sort of software-based gain control it is not all that = good, and so the line in is not as good as a mic in on, say, a MD recorder because it introd= uces a lot of noise. However, it is good to hear that you have had success with a decent= mic. Thanks for the help, Sean |
