The PMD-660 has been out for two years.. Google it. It is a somewhat small flash recorder. It uses 4 double A batteries that provide excelent recording time. A stock model can be had for 500usd These are all but usless for real recording because of their noisy mic preamps and how they brickwall with a loud sound. Oade bros ( http://www.oade.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=OBA&Category_Code=PMD660Ambient ) has a very quiet, usable modded model for around 650usd. YMMV |
