I love my pet rats (rattus norwegicus domesticus), currently I have two brothers that love to roam around the house. Unfortunatly this inncludes my extensive cable network. The detterent I've found that seems to work (at least temporarily) is a coat of mustard. Perhaps that will stop other rodents too? Back when I had a big rat sister family one of the little ones had found th= e bestest hidding spot: insde one of those old style HP printers. When I finally coaxed her out with some treats the damage was done. Tried the repair shop and they gave me a very funny look when I came back: every single wire in the printer had been taken off. Haha. Lost countless minijack cables, tv power cables, xlr & coax cables. Right now one has climbed up on my tv set (because they climb and pee right on my stratocaster) eating up the bird nest I got from Bharatpurr India. Cheers Anton |
