I wouldn't recommend the Rode Dead Cat unless the budget is really  
tight - they are pretty flimsy and moult as soon as you touch them.  
The k-tek slip-on fuzzy I bought to replace the dead cat brought a  
significant improvement in terms of wind resistance.

For some weird reason any email I send that includes "K(numeral six)"  
is getting blocked somewhere along the way.
