Sorry I wasn't very clear. They are not mono mixdowns, they are the
mono left and right legs of your stereo mix.

If you do this:

Ch1= Left of stereo panned center
Ch2= Right of stereo panned left
Ch3= Right of stereo, flipped phase, Panned right

...the output will be:

Left= Mid, a mono mix of your previous stereo mix left & right (i.e. L+R)
Right= side, the difference between the left and right sides (i.e. L-R)
