Whoops. I hit send too quickly. I also wanted to mention that you could do this 
using 3 
mono channels in PT. Left on CH1 panned center, Right on ch 2 panned left and 
right also 
on ch3 panner right and out of phase. That gives you Mid (L+R) and side (L-R).
