Fwiw, I recently made reasonable recordings of human heartbeats with an aquarian HB2 hydrophone pressed against the chest. We moved the mic around a bit until the levels were loudest. It was sensitive to handling noise but did a pretty good job; I think the reason it worked well was that that model has a flat surface that coupled well to the skin. best, aaron -- quietamerican.org oneminutevacation.org 83% happy 9% disgusted 6% fearful 2% angry |
