Certainly (more!!!) food for thought! I guess my worry is that a Tascam
HD-P3 or P4 will come out soon (give the age of the P2) and it's value
will drop and the new recorder will have even better features, whereas
something such as the SD Mixpre will keep it's value and be useful no
matter what back end it is used with. I guess I think it will be more of
an investment and something which I could use on a film shoot (direct to
camera) or with a MD or a new generation of CF recorder.
I hate buying dilemmas! :)
