The Maths. M =3D L+R S =3D L-R So to get L and R 50%M (L+R) + 50%S (L-R) =3D 50%L+50%R +50%L-50%R =3D L 50%M (L+R) - 50%S (L-R) =3D 50%L+50%R -50%L+50%R =3D R I have only ever used the 'mid-side' setting in Audition 1.5 and so far fou= nd it to be fine.
