I'm using them on shoulder pads, with my neck as a barrier. The
spacing is about 13cm. A little wider than ear distance, I like a
little exaggeration of the arrival time differences.

Such an array works well for that. It's kind of a non-standard
Jecklin technique.

I face the capsules forward. Omnis aren't really omni at the very top
end, and this gives me some focus on what I'm facing.
