Try Sweetwater:

They would ship to the UK, as I asked.

Subject: [Nature Recordists] budget mic choices
Hi all,
I've ordered a MZ-RH1 which should arrive Monday, so that's the
recorder decision out of the way. Thanks to all who gave me advice
and links, it was much appreciated.
I'm now faced with a decision on which mic to purchase. Unless a
bargin ME66/K6 combination (cheapest new price is over double that
of the most expensive of my "budget" selection) turns up on ebay in
the next week or so it looks like I'm back to my original selection
for now. I'm pretty much set on a shotgun mike for reasons of
portability on bushwalks, and suitability for targeted bird call
recording. I don't have any expectations that I'll be making "release
quality" stereo ambience recordings (or stereo of any kind for that
matter!!).
The "shotgun" contenders are:
MKE-300 18dBA 16mV/Pa (+/-2.5dB) ($379AU)
NTG-2 18dBA 15mV @ 94dB (+/-2dB) ($305AU)
AT-897 17dBA 10mV (8.9mV battery) @ 94dB ($333AU)
Using self-noise as the primary selection criteria the AT-897 seems
to be the obvious choice. The '897's low sensitivity is probably the
main concern but the preamp in the RH1 should have enough gain to cope.
Does this sound like a reasonable choice at the price point??
Tangentially, in regards to the W183 capsules, I was wondering if
anyone knew of a reasonably priced source that will ship outside the
"50 states"?
cheers
Paul
