Thanks for repeating this link, Rob. Curiosity question: I have not had a chance to do anything with them, but I have a pair of WL-83 and a WL-84 (cardioid) that I inherited from a former client's discarded VHF wireless system. I'm thinking that I can use them the same way as the WL-183, and buy a couple of the preamps that allow them to work with phantom on my 744T. Does anyone know what the differences (for our purposes) are between the WL-83 and the WL-183? It wasn't until I dragged them out form storage that I noticed the missing "1" ... these are from the 1980s. <L> On Apr 18, 2007, at 1:38 AM, Rob Danielson wrote: > > http://www.uwm.edu/~type/audio-reports/Shure-WL183s/index.htm > Rob D. > |
