Hello everybody. I just joined the group a few days ago. I hope you
can help with a few questions???

I know absolutaly nothing about what to start with for recording. I
was eyeing up an Oylmpus digital recorder, model WS-300M.

It's 100 dollars here at radio shack. Is this a good or bad item for
recording? What are the pro's and con's? Is this a common way to
record for the majority out there?
Additionally, I was also checking out some binaural Stereo
Microphones, there at

What do you think about this combo for starting out? I thought I would
ask you guys first before I bought anything. I like the idea of it
recording digitaly so I can dump it onto my computer and work with the
recording from there, like burning it onto a cd. This is also within
my budget (under 200 dollars)

If any out there is from the Buffalo NY area, or Western NY area, I
would love to call you personally to get some advise as well.

Thanks everyone! I hope you can help!? :))

Dave
