It is basically a furry cover ala Rycote though has a foam damper
built in - very professional !

The dish can be rolled up though I don't bother. There is a strap
you can use to sling the dish and mic/handle over your shoulder
fully assembled too.

Would be good if you could get calls of crossbills in your part of
England to see how they vary with others in UK. Chris Hails on the
list has been getting some really interesting crossbills in
Switzerland, very different populations (based on vocalizations)from
what we get up here in Scotland and more like some of those listed
in the Sound Approach book.
