Is there a link you can send us with more about this?

Not sure why one would bother to keep a MD or an Hi-MD disc for
archive purposes when one could keep several CD-R and DVD-R copies
and not have to worry about a transfer issues in 30 years. The list
archive has some pretty good info on CD/DVD archive media discussions
options and research. Rob D.

Not sure iI could cite any recording medium that is better! :-)

Why one emphasize keeping a MD or an Hi-MD disc for archive purposes
when one could keep several CD-R and DVD-R copies and not have to
worry about a transfer issues in 30 years? The list archive has some
pretty good info on CD/DVD archive media discussions options and
