While it's fun to compare the current CO2 level to that of the ice ages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Carbon_Dioxide_400kyr.png), have a look at the levels when life really did well on the planet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Phanerozoic_Carbon_Dioxide.png We're never going to get that high again. Too much coal and oil need burning to get there. Bruce |
