I don't think you will find it exactly Bernie.
If you have multiple CF cards they are going to be seen as multiple
drives. There are few choices of recorders that will automatically
split large files and keep recording. I don't know of one that will
split between multiple drives.  A SD722 or SD702 would do it using an
external firewire drive but not by CF. Myself I set the max file size
to be at 650meg so that it fits on a CD for archiving.
