At least the first versions will be for Plug In Power microphones
only. Price range about 200-250 USD. It's only special feature is
that I guarantee lowest noise possible. No extra goodies.

I have it and I use it and it's mic input it excellent. But it drives
me crazy to have to go into the menu every time and chose "manual"
recording level. And always wait (up to several minutes!!) while it
"writes to disc"-. And Sonic Stage is no software which I think of
every morning to cheer up...
