E-Mail group of individuals interested in recording natural sounds.Hi
everybody,

Thanks a lot for the replies. Aaron's solution is doubtlessly my #1 option=

:-), but... not feasible at the moment.

So, based on the opinions I read, I thought of using a numeric tag placed i=
n
front of every entry related to a given bird call series.

For example, every entry "Atlantic Forest Bird Calls" would be tagged with=

number 5. Thus, I'd have:

NAME =3D 5 Procnias nudicollis
ARTIST =3D 5 Bellbird, Bare-throated
ALBUM =3D 5 Cotingidae
COMPOSER =3D 5 Araponga

If I come up with a series of bird calls from somewhere else (e.g. USA -
East Coast), I could tag it "6" and so on.

The only disadvantage that I see is not being able to use iPod's feature of=

showing the browsed letter highlighted on screen, like it does when you tur=
n
the clickwheel very quickly in a list with lots of names.

Despite this limitation, it feels like it can work well. Any additional
inputs?

All the best,

Daniel
