I don't have an iPod, but I noticed my iTunes has an information
field called "Genre." I've made my own genre Nature Sounds for my own
collection, but I don't know if that would be transferred to a iPod.
It was rejected when I tried to upload a nature sounds album's data
via "submit track names."

My iTunes includes a genre "Science." That might be an appropriate
place for nature sounds.
