You are going to do professional sound recording and you want to buy gear
for a grand! do you have any gear at the moment?

The reason I ask is that you are going to be a little disappointed of the
cost of things. To buy a recorder with a decent pre-amp will cost you over =
=BE
of your budget and I am quoting you a bottom of the range recorder=85..

Now, if you want to go into nature recording without the professional entry=
,
then that=92s a different matter=85..

To start off with pro sounding mics and recorders you are looking at more
like 4000 quid=85=85=85
