The WL 185s are painfully noisy and far more vulnerable to wind and handling noise than any other mics I've ever experimented with. A couple weeks ago I dragged mine out of storage again to try and convince myself that they're usable for something -- anything -- but they quickly ended up back in the closet. Curt Olson |
