Hi John-- I haven't run across static as yet
with similar rigs. As folks are suggesting, it
does make sense to try and isolate the source
when its doing it again by trying other mics,
XLR->mini cable, headphones, another recorder.
The DC power for the Hi-MD deck and the Rolls
aren't in anyway connected are they? Record a
little bit of the static perhaps? Rob D.
