It's much more important to learn mic and field technique than to have the ultimate transparent transfer technique. The older Sharps are preferable to the older Sonys because the Sonys defaulted to auto gain control that had to be reset every time. Even when you get more sophisticated gear your starter gear will be your backup. -Dan |
